To better air quality, upgrade your existing filter to the one with a more efficient MERV class. Note that the upgrade will reduce the airflow capability of your appliance.

MERV 3 Rated Filter

This replacement kit features 2 washable, aluminum air filters with a MERV3 rating. The filters will collect particles such as insects, debris, lint, and carpet fibers. With normal usage, it is recommended that you vacuum clean and wash the filter every 3 months and replace it every 5 years.

MERV 6 Rated Filter

The replacement kit features 2 washable, synthetic air filters with a MERV6 rating. The filters will collect particles such as cement dust, carpet fibers, debris, lint, and insects. With normal usage, it is recommended that you vacuum clean/replace the filter every 3 months.

MERV 8 Rated Filter

The replacement filter kit features 2 washable, synthetic air filters with a MERV8 rating. The filters will collect up to 90% of particles as small as 3 microns in size such as mold spores, pollen, cement dust, carpet fibers, debris, lint, and insects. With normal usage, it is recommended that you vacuum clean the filter every 3 months, and replace it every year.

When installing/replacing this filter on your appliance, ensure the aluminum side faces away from the core so that the filter catches large debris. This will improve the longevity of the filter and make maintenance work easier.
