In home spas, maintaining ideal humidity and air quality is crucial for relaxation and wellness.

Exhaust ventilation quietly removes excess humidity, pollutants, and odors, creating a perfect atmosphere for unwinding. It also prevents problems like mold, preserving your spa's quality.

Standards and Codes

Important to know

International Code Council (ICC)

The International Code Council (ICC) lays down mechanical system requirements, including ventilation standards for bathrooms in both single and multi-family homes. According to Section M1507, air exhausted from the bathroom must be directed outdoors, not indoors to the same residence or to any other dwelling unit, and certainly not to a crawlspace or attic.

ASHRAE Standard 62.2

A crucial benchmark in this domain, prioritizing ventilation and indoor air quality in residential buildings.

It mandates the installation of an intermittent local exhaust fan with a minimum capacity of 50 CFM in each bathroom to ensure optimal air circulation and quality.
