Fantech donates bath fans to TROSA
A donation of premium bath fans from Fantech is helping a Durham, NC, substance abuse treatment facility continue its mission of providing no-cost treatment to its residents.
TROSA, which stands for Triangle Residential Options for Substance Abusers, provides a full range of treatment to those who voluntarily enter its 2-year residential program. Residents receive a wide range of treatment and substance abuse counseling, along with vocational training and education.
TROSA reached out to Fantech in March 2017 for a donation of bathroom exhaust fans for various residence renovation projects. Their current ventilation systems were "woefully inadequate" for the current 526 residents. TROSA asked for and received a total of 14 Model PB 110 and PB 190 premium bath fans for onsite apartments and group homes. The fans, which meet ASHRAE Standard 62.2 for ventilation, are designed for quick removal of large volumes of heat and humidity in bathrooms.
The response from Fantech was quick and enthusiastic.
"We were as delighted to learn about this extraordinary organization as we were to give to it. If product donations like ours can help TROSA sustain and advance their mission to help substance abusers restore their lives, we are all in," said Phil Rivas, Fantech Director of Sales.
