Q: Why would I use this tool? 

A: The Project Planner offers you the following benefits: build a project around Fantech products, assign tags, choose duty points, list accessories in minutes, download, and then get on with your day. Plans changed? No problem! Click, drag and, drop.

Q: Do I need to have an account with Fantech to use the Project Planner? 

A: You do not need to have an account. The project data is saved via cookies in your browser. The projects will disappear in30 days unless you modify anything on it, for example, add a product, add a note, etc.

Q.: Can drop a selected product into my project? 

A: Absolutely! While on the product page, click on the Project Planner button to add the product to your project. Alternatively, use Quick Add lookup to find a product by its name or part number.

Q.: What documents can I export for my project? 

A: You can pick and choose from a variety of documents available for the products you have added to your projects. Choose one, a few or all of the documents: Specification Text, DXF or RFA Files, Installation Manuals, Wiring Diagrams, Dimensional Drawings, etc.

Q.: Can I export my project into MS Excel? 

A: Yes, you can. Simply click on the Export button across the bottom of the Planner screen and choose the desired format.

Q.: Can I share a project with my teammate?

A: Sure! Once you complete the project organization, you can generate a link to share your project via email.

Q.: Can I create and manage multiple projects via my dashboard? 

A: Absolutely! The number of projects is unlimited. Add a new project when needed. It will appear on the top of your list. You can sort your projects by name, project location and dates when those were created and updated.

Q.: How long will my projects be stored in the Project Planner?
